To ensure my voting right as a U.S. citizen, I have decided to vote by mail/ballot drop-off box last week. I feel very happy about my choice of candidates for the President, the Senator, the House Representative, and a few local county clerks. Choices seem to be simple and straight from my values and expectations for the American democracy.

With final closing statements are coming from the candidates in a week, I wonder how the American elections systems survive without inflicting vote results and proper electoral vote counts. It is awfully a scaring thought that we cannot move forward toward the peaceful transition of power.

Everyday we have been swamped with breaking news on poll updates, donation requests online, telemarketing landline telephone calls, old-fashioned mail inserts, and of course supporting signage everywhere on the suburban household front yards.

Tribal society? Yes, we are. Why we ask. How come the other side cannot see the obvious valued choice? We are easily marketed and sold. Nonetheless, the values our society deserves need to be chosen by the election. What is democracy? What can each do?

One vote of mine. One voice of my choice. That is only I can do within my control. We are all responsible for it consequences.
